Storytelling is a powerful tool to change thought, ignite inspiration, and is a creative outlet for healing, In a world where diverse narratives, particularly those of Filipino and Southeast Asian origin, are often overlooked, the founders of FilAm Creative dreamed of establishing a film festival that would celebrate untold stories, amplify underrepresented creative voices and create unity in the Filipino and SEA community. In 2023, the first Filam Creative Film Festival was born in Los Angeles, CA.
